Sygun Fawr Country House |
|
Spectacular scenery awaits you at this former Welsh Manor House dating from 1644. Set in 20 acres of mountainside and gardens, peace and tranquility are assured at this ultimate mountain retreat. Exposed stone walls, oak beams and inglenooks add to the traditional character and atmosphere at Sygun Fawr ensuring that your stay is both enjoyable and restful. Set in the oldest part of the building the restaurant with it's antique furniture and cosy atmosphere provides a relaxed and informal place to dine. Fresh local produce such as Welsh lamb, beef and fresh seafood is the source for both imaginative and traditional menus which change daily. Comfort and style can be seen in 9 individual bedrooms all with en-suite facilities and tasteful furnishings. Deluxe double rooms have extra comforts and the ultimate views of the Snowdon range and Gwynant valley. A wood burning stove and coal fire add to the character and warmth during the winter months when the scenery in Snowdonia is even more inspiring. Sygun Fawr is the perfect place from which to walk and explore this beautiful National Park. We are open all year. |
