There are two self-catering properties available - a cottage (Is Graig) sleeping 2 to 6, and a farmhouse (Planwydd) sleeping 2 to 18. Please bring your own towels for both properties. Heat and smoke detectors are installed in both properties.

'Is Graig' is an end terrace cosy cottage within walking distance of Cwellyn Arms. The cottage is carpeted throughout and fully centrally heated. The self catering accommodation consists of two bedrooms. The larger bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, and the other has two single beds. The bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms. The lounge is comfortable with a wood burning stove in the inglenook and double sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with dining area. There is a large garden to the rear with spectacular views towards Snowdon.

Planwydd

This is a detached farmhouse in 25 acres leading to Cwellyn Lake. The farmhouse is approx ¼ mile from Cwellyn Arms. The accommodation consists of two large bedrooms, one double and one single and one double and two single beds. The bathroom with bath and power shower is accessible from both bedrooms. The lounge has an inglenook fireplace with a Wood-burning stove (very cosy). The kitchen is large and spacious with a six burner, two-oven farmhouse cooker; it is fully equipped with a dining area. The sun lounge has a double sofa bed and can serve as an extra separate bedroom. It has uninterrupted views of Snowdon and overlooks Cwellyn Lake. The farmhouse is double glazed, fully central heated and carpeted throughout. All bed linen is provided as well as gas and electricity. Please bring extra towels. Heat, smoke, carbon monoxide detectors and emergency lighting are installed.

There is another part to the Farmhouse, which comprises of an en-suite bedroom (with Jacuzzi) and a separate shower and a large lounge with double sofa bed. This part is available for rent either separately or as part of the main house.

There is now a third part to the Farmhouse, which comprises of an en-suite bedroom with balcony, a large lounge with a double sofa bed and a single chair bed, fitted kitchen and dining area plus downstairs shower room with toilet.

All three parts can be interconnected so as to provide one large accommodation unit for up to 18 people or as two or three separate apartments. Breakfast can be served at the pub if booked in advance.

Bunkhouse Accommodation

There is bunkhouse accommodation available 10 minutes walk from Cwellyn Arms in 'The Bunkhouse' and 'Bwythyn Bach'. Please bring your own sleeping bag for both bunkhouses. WE HAVE A NO MUSIC POLICY.

'The Bunkhouse' is a completely refurbished old stone barn. It has central heating, free power showers, flush toilets and new extension with a fully fitted kitchen and dining room. There is one large sleeping area which accommodates six sets of bunk beds (sleeps 12), plus two separate loft areas decked with good quality mattress flooring (sleeps 4 and 6). There are disabled facilities, fire doors, heat and smoke detectors and emergency lighting. All electricity and gas included.

'Bwthyn Bach' is a small, fully equipped bunkhouse adjacent to the farmhouse. There are 2/3 bunk beds, shower and toilet. There is a log burner for basic cooking requirements, sink and tea/coffee facilities. The bunkhouse is fully centrally heated.

Camping

The campsite is set in a breathtaking location in the Snowdonia National Park at the foot of Snowdon, near the lake of Llyn Cwellyn. The site is for tents only, and features:

* free power showers
* flush toilets
* fresh running water
* logs for sale for camp fires

The campsite enjoys marvellous views towards Snowdon and is ideal for Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme groups and Scouts. Breakfast can be served at the pub by prior arrangement. Camp fires are allowed and logs are available for sale. There is also a bunkhouse on the site.
