Snowdonia Holiday Cottages

Snowdonia Holiday Cottages aim to provide quality, self-catering holiday accommodation in the heart of one of the most beautiful National Parks in Britain.

Located in the centre of Beddgelert, the cottages are ideally placed to provide a comfortable base from which to explore the Snowdonia National Park and all the attractions of the surrounding area. Both face onto the inner courtyard to the rear of The Saracens Head Hotel under the shadow of Moel Hebog and very close to wooded slopes.

Both cottages, which are adjoining, have been renovated to a high standard and together, could provide excellent accommodation for larger parties of up to twelve people. Children are welcome and a cot is available if required.
All prices include heating, electricity and bed linen.

Bwthyn Gwynant

Is the larger of our two properties. It sleeps 6 with room for an extra child in the large ensuite family room, with a kingsize and single bed. There are a further two double bedrooms one en-suite and one with a private bathroom.

There is a large comfortable lounge with a TV and a separate dining room. The fully fitted kitchen has all modern appliances, cooker/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, a fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker etc. In addition, there is a separate drying room complete with tumble dryer.


Bwthyn Canol

Provides character accommodation and sleeps 5. There is one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and a single
bedroom, together with a separate bathroom and shower.
The cosy lounge/diner has a TV. The fully fitted kitchen has all modern appliances with a cooker/hob, dishwasher,
microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, coffee maker etc. There is a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. In addition there is a separate downstairs w.c.

Both cottages are fully centrally heated and have off-road parking facilities. There is a small seating area at the rear of each of the properties.

A welcome pack will await your arrival at the start of what we hope will be a very memorable and enjoyable stay. The cottages are maintained and serviced by the owners who live locally, and can be contacted, should the need arise. Lets are available all year round. For your comfort a no pets and no-smoking policy is operated.

The Village

Small, but with a wealth of facilities, Beddgelert forms an ideal, picturesque base for exploring the beauty and culture of North Wales. The village has numerous inns, restaurants, craft shops and an award winning ice cream and pizza parlour, all of which are within a few minutes walk of our cottages. Beddgelert also has a factory outlet shop for outdoor wear at reasonable prices.

Within minutes of the village centre are forests, lakes and, of course, mountains, including Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and England. Two of the main paths up Snowdon begin from the edge of the parish, with two more a few minutes drive away. Mountain bikes are available to hire nearby or if this sounds too energetic, there are mountain railways, golf courses, beautiful beaches and a wealth of other attractions, within easy driving distance.
Whatever you intend to do on your holiday, Beddgelert offers the visitor a warm welcome and Bwthyn Gwynant and Bwthyn Canol the perfect base.
